Why Rest is Important and How to Get it!
You
will feel happy as to why rest is important part of your fitness journey. Get
rid of guilt if you are not able to hit the gyms seven days a week. But if you
think that rest days are completely laying completely perpendicular on the
couch and think again. Taking a rest day does not mean that you are not doing
nothing.

Why
is rest Important?
When
you don’t give your body time to recover from workouts, you might be in the
risk of overtraining. Symptoms of overtraining may include extended muscle
soreness, a weak immune system, and a decrease in performance during workouts
or even worse that is not good. Incorporating both active and passive days will
give your body the time itself to repair, recover and grow.
What
is Active Rest?
Active
rest are meant to be light and easy compared to heart pumping workouts. It will
gain your experience level some or the other way. The active rest day will look
different and actually more intense from someone who crushes their workout five
days a week.
What
all things you can do in your active rest days?
1. Spend more time focusing on dynamic warmups.
2. Go for walk in the park.
3. Ask you friend to get active outside of the
gym by climbing, bowling etc.
4. Make a special trip to the trampoline park.
5. Go out dancing for late night.
6. Take a yoga class for your muscles and mind
get relaxed.
7. Schedule a massage for yourself to help you
muscles to get relax.
How long you can
rest?
For those people who are attacking an
intense programme every day your active rest day should be light. Active rests
are more essential for everyone. Choose an activity that keeps you more active
and feel happy and helps you to relieve stress.
So what’s going on your mind set? Just
like setting your daily step goals. Plot a schedule and pick your weekly rest
days; one or two days where you limit your activity to allow your body to
recover. Use the tracker to limit your active activities. And don’t forget that
active recover is a hugely beneficial and standard routine of stretching a yoga
to improve flexibility and circulation can be especially valuable.
