Did you know there are numerous effect of
smartphone?
In the present
scenario is it very difficult to imagine the day without using a cell phone.
The number of cell phones users are increasing day by day be it a children’s or
adults etc. According to Statistics, by 2019 about 2.7 billion people are
estimated to use Smartphone devices. And, the statistics of mobile phone usage
is predicted to cross 4.68 billion covering about 67 percentage of the global
population in 2019.

Now days, especially the smartphones that rule us today-
have positive advantage such as instant communication with family, building
networks with each other, entertainment purpose, camera, GPS, education,
storing documents, privacy etc. However, people are becoming addicted to the
numerous of application of their smartphone which is having diverse effects
upon their health.
Let’s know the how
smartphone is killing us silently.
There are some effect of excessive use of
smartphones such as:
(1) Eyes
strain : While typing or reading any content, people often favour to stare at
tiny fonts which are visible at small screen of your smartphone, which is very
much harmful for our eyes. If we continuously see the smartphone on a regular
basis it can lead to blurred vision, dried eyes, eyes strain etc. It is said by
doctors, that while using phone it should be kept away at minimum 16inch
distance from face to minimise the risk of eye damage.
Preventions:
Try to have a minimum 20 minute break while using phone on a continuous basis. If possible try to read long articles or messages on laptop or desktop so that there is minimum stress on your eyes. If the strain of your eyes continues you should immediately consult your doctor without any delay.

(2) Neck
and back pain: Neck and back pain are one the common pain while having
excessive use of phone for continuous hours. The wrong postures can harm the
muscles of neck and back while using the smartphones, laptops etc. for long
hours.
Preventions:
To get rid of back and neck pain while using smartphone watch your posture and learn to sit with right postures to keep your spine healthy and fine. Doctors also recommended that keeping the cell phone at your eye level resting the cervical spine in a neutral position. Another important thing recommended by doctors are you should never float arms ahead of the body.
